Danesh Manik

Lead Pastor

Pastor Danesh is the lead pastor at Bellevue Christian Church since January 2008. He was born in Bombay (Mumbai), India and raised in a Hindu Brahmin (priest) family. He came to the US as a Computer Engineer but God had other plans for him, and in Feb 1991, Danesh came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior (you can watch his testimony here). He has been passionate to reach others with the good news of Jesus Christ ever since. Danesh is married to his lovely wife, Michele, and has two beautiful girls, Rachel & Amanda, and of course, their cute yorkshire, Zoe. He loves hymns, but we know we have caught him listening to 80's pop music. You will often find him unwinding at his favorite cafe or bookstore with a good book, and a quad espresso.

Michele Manik

Michele was born on November 19th...sometime in the 70's in Lansing, MI. Along with directing the Children's and Pre-Teen Ministry, she bears the huge task of being our pastor's wife. Michele is passionate, excited, and loves kids and it shows in the awesome ministry that happens here at BCC under her care. A couple of Michele's favorite reads are "Scarlet Thread" By Francene Rivers, and the "Lowlands of Scotland" series by Liz Curtis. Her favorite movies include "The Blind Side" and "Pride and Prejudice". Some of her favorite musical artists include Chris Tomlin, Delirious, and Steven Curtis Chapman. Michele has a great love for all things chocolate, except ice cream.
